Propose a Book

Microsoft Press welcomes proposals for innovative, instructional books about Microsoft products and related technologies. Our computer books range from information on basic software skills to in-depth advanced subjects, and they cover certification preparation, best practices, general software engineering, and more. If you have an idea for an original book or would like to contribute to one of our established IT book series, we want to hear from you.

How to propose a book

Review our proposal guidelines in Microsoft Office Word format. Download the DOCX file if you have Word 2007.

Before submitting a full proposal, we recommend that you send us an e-mail message in which you briefly describe your book, summarize your writing experience, and provide your resume.
